Ahrenberg, Jac. [1847-1914. Finland. Architect/Ceramist]

 

Johan Jakob Ahrenberg [commonly known as Jac. Ahrenberg] was born in Viborg, Denmark, on 30 April 1847. He studied at the Konstakademi in Stockholm following which he made study trips to Paris, Venice, Florence and to North Africa. He subsequently practised as an architect. He also acted as artistic advisor to Arabia in the 1890s. He died on 10 October 1914.
